Marianela Labrada promotes creative and committed early childhood education in Minas municipality

Minas, Camagüey, Jan 2. - Located in District 17 of the Lugareño Popular Council, in the municipality of Minas, is the Terroncito de Azúcar daycare center where Marianela Labrada Guerra works, an educator with over ten years of experience teaching children.

She began her career as a teaching assistant and, thanks to her dedication, was able to continue her studies, obtaining a degree in preschool education and later a master's degree. She currently specializes in teaching computing skills to her students.

Her work goes beyond teaching games, numbers, and letters; every day she strives to earn her students' trust and provide them with a comprehensive education that meets the objectives of the educational program for their age.

"I have earned their trust; I educate the children comprehensively to achieve the desired results in their development," she states. Her commitment to the well-being of these little ones leads her to seek creative solutions to meet the needs of the working mothers' children in her care.

"It is well known that the educational sector faces shortages due to the hostile policy of the United States governments. However, here we focus on ensuring that the children have the necessary resources to learn. We create rustic toys and decorations with papier-mâché, among other useful materials. In these times, creativity is essential," explains Labrada Guerra.

Throughout her career, Marianela has participated in various scientific events, presenting projects on early childhood teaching methods. "I have had the opportunity to participate in events at the municipal, provincial, national, and even international levels. I am proud of this recognition, which is the fruit of my effort and dedication," she expresses with satisfaction.

With each passing day, this woman from Minas feels a deep attachment to her classroom. "I feel great love and passion for the children. They are my reason for being because, as the Apostle said: 'They are the ones who know how to love, they are the hope of the world'."

Her dedication and commitment reflect the positive impact an educator can have on the lives of the youngest, preparing future generations with love and responsibility. (Text and photo: Adolfina Portuondo Pérez/La Voz del Bayatabo/Minas)
